Jörg Horn
I've worked in the railway industry for over 22 years – a world full of technology, precision, and responsibility. I've repaired signal boxes, maintained level crossings, and serviced signals. I've been part of the points crew and experienced firsthand what it means to keep the backbone of rail transport running.
But 2016 marked the beginning of a new chapter for me:
I became an instructor for the construction and maintenance of railway switches – a task that I am passionate about. Since then, I have had the privilege of training hundreds of skilled workers, from Deutsche Bahn and Siemens to smaller companies.
In 2018, I took the plunge into self-employment – with Weichentraining Horn, I'm building my own company and supporting the industry as a trainer. It was the best decision of my life! Because here I can fully live out my passion for railway technology, pass on knowledge, and inspire people for this fascinating field.
For me, the railway is more than just a job – it's my calling. As a trainer, I guide skilled workers on their path, impart knowledge, and share my experience from more than two decades.
